AGM and Joint Meeting 2024
Our 2024 AGM will be held at the Old Booking Hall at Haltwhistle Station on Tuesday 15th October. The evening will begin at 5pm with a joint meeting with TVCRP and our AGM will follow at 6pm. Our guest speaker this year is Martin Gannon.
Martin, as well as being Leader of Gateshead Council, is, more importantly, the Deputy Mayor of the new North East Combined Authority (NECA), and holds the specific Cabinet Portfolio for Transport within the organisation. Martin previously held the post of Chair of the North East Joint Transport Committee.
It should be very interesting to hear Martin's thoughts on all things North East Transport related especially with respect to the Tyne Valley Line, how we can better integrate the various modes of public transport and integrated ticketing.
